Adamle: Still terrible, or just a clever work?

Apparently, people still believe it's just him being terrible (and for the record, I HATE these site that make you pay for their shit so you can see one article as PWInsider has with one of the stories about several WWE wrestlers being unhappy with the draft as well. Why make us pay for something that will be on TPWW later tonight, anyway? UGH!!):

The other announcers were having fun slagging on Mike Adamle last night, liberally busting his chops about his frequent mistakes and miscues. While you would think that at this point he has to be working the mistakes he constantly makes as part of his character, everyone I have asked about it tells me that is not the case. Adamle is messing up all on his own and people don't have any problem mocking him about it on the air.

Wow. Of course, to his credit, he did make that comment on air that he was getting hit from all sides (even using wrestling lingo to do it), and didn't seem to mind it.

My main problem is that everyone is blasting him as if they want him out of the company instead of trying to work with him to get that under control. I've never seen ANY commentator get worked over this badly for anything (HOW many mistakes had JR gotten away with on RAW before the draft, and just WHO are the TNA commentators again?). I know I would've quit by now if I was in his position.
