Cena turning Heel?

The possibility of turning John Cena heel has been discussed much more seriously than in the past, according to sources.

Vince McMahon made it clear when the idea was previously broached that it would not even be considered due to the tremendous amount of revenue Cena draws via merchandise. While there doesn�t appear to be any firm plan in place, McMahon has since changed his tune on the subject as he is now open to listening to suggestions.

Meanwhile, accoring to another source, there is �strong talk� of a turning Cena heel come WrestleMania season.

So...would this work out? Way I see it, they're positioning Randy Orton as the top face now, giving way for Cena to pursue a heel turn. Does this mean he may join Nexus? Does this mean that Cena may turn heel and face 'Taker at Mania?

Cena's pretty much run his course with his feuds, and he's not likely to drop down and, say, feud with Jack Swagger or Alberto del Rio (which wouldn't do much, considering it would be unlikely that the heel would go over).

With him turning heel, he can...well...feud with a lot of guys that he's feuded with when they were heels. Randy Orton, HHH, Big Show...or maybe he'll drop down and mix it up with a Kofi Kingston or a Daniel Bryan?

More I think about it, the more I feel like the WWE's lacking a strong upper card face presence. Can Cena be the guy who can elevate some of these younger guys to that level? I don't know so...
