I think Slaughter was great. Probably another guy like Dibiase who had the spotlight as he was already ageing, so his years in WWE were on the comedown from his peak. Andre is arguably the same though.

What seperates them is Andre's almost mystical presence and draw. He was a spectacle and continued to be even when he was immobile and offered little else.

He was a true icon of the business for me and Slaughter just falls short of that for me.
