Society has shaped the current product more than anything else. We live in a fast paced world of instant gratification. The in ring product reflects that.

As far as Omega and Ibushi killing the mystique of wrestling, well you can't kill something thats already dead. It was shot in the leg during the vince steroid trial, and the rise of thevinternet finished it off for good. Instead of bitching about it and stubbornly refusing to move on, some guys have adapted to the new audience, and discovered a new way to entertain an audience. That's all comedy wrestling is to me.

I can watch a classic 70's wrestling match, a high impact NJPW main event, and DDT comedy match, and aporeciate all of them for what they are, seperately.
