And with his Carolinas connection he'd fit in with Hunter as another Flair/Horseman/NWA mark.
On the other hand if he turns heel, and then jumps to SD he wouldn't reach the top of the card by any means, but at least he would be consistantly in the mix. The CW division may not be the greatest, but it is a regualr part of SD, and with his talents he'd be in the title mix a fair amount of the time. That means he'd get to be on TV every week and PPV fairly regularly.
The worst thing for him is that they'll turn him heel, he'll beat Rosey in a terrible match, and then reach the heights of fueding with Maven. That means he'll lose the gimmick that keeps him on the roster (its good opening card stuff) in exchange for a 2 week push. If that happens he'll just get lost in the shuffle on RAW (too small to go for the IC title, too much penis for the Womens title) and he'll be a regular with Steven Richards on Heat.

You're absolutely right. If they put Helms in Evolution as the future of RAW, he'd get over well, and get a chance to shine. He would make the IC division, and possibly eventually the World Heavyweight division (I could see him making it, even though he is the smallest man on RAW). I think it would make him the first ever cruiserweight to win a heavyweight title in the WWE. This would give him a record he could boast around ala Randy Orton. I could see Helms in a memerable feud with almost anyone in the WWE. Apparantly his heel tease has gotten over at house shows, with Helms basically being "booed out of the building". Evolution is the way to go, I think.
