But how do you know that mom knew what the wrestling show actually was?

It sounds like the promoter is one of your old school sleazy promoters that didn't actually promote that it was going to violent.

The mom probably saw an ad that said "IWA Wrestling Coming to Hickville, U.S.A. on October 22."
