Well the civil war was a little under a 150 years ago, and wwII was just over 50. So there's been a lot more time for the symbol of the confedorate flag to change it's meaning.
Point is, people generally don't look at the confedorate flag as a symbol of hate anymore. Walkout the door and you'll see a lot of merchandise brandishing the flag. All this stuff wouldn't be out there if it was still a symbol of hate. Besides, look at it this way. The change over the years must really piss off the southerners that are still racist. That should at least appeal to you. |

Except, of course, that things didn't end with the Civil War. You're not that naive, Figgy. As far as the "most people don't consider ti racist," crap, I'd say that was patently false, since it's still a controversial issue wherever it's displayed. Sorry, real world issue>hypothetical change. |

Picked them all up.
Only did guitar, and Message in a Bottle and Call Me are pretty fun. Simple Man is boring, and Motley isn't a very good song, and moderately fun to play. Should be in a harder tier, I'll say that much. Last edited by U-Warrior; 04-15-2008 at 08:35 PM. |
