I actually believe that. The average fan could definitely write a better show than the current WWE / TNA writers.

The only challenge would be that the WWE has already buried so many good wrestlers, characters, and storylines; that 4 weeks probably wouldn't be enough to fix all of the damage.

I agree, but at the same time, I disagree.

I think half the people here who want to write for WWE would be suicidal by the end of the month; while they would clearly be capable of writing a better show than what's making it to TV, they would soon find that their ideas were run through the McMahon Food Processor Deluxe (tm), which has taken all that is good from their ideas and filtered it down to a homogenous paste.

This paste will be uniform in colour, texture, and flavor, and will resemble the rest of the product.

And that's the rub. I think even the current writers could probably write better shows, but when ultimate control goes the the McMahons and company...
