Why the fuck would they keep soundwave a boombox int he movie? Maybe if he was supposed to be a little runt, like the guy in the first movie, but this is an action movie. It just doesn't translate to screen.
It's like making bumblebee a fast muscle car, instead of a volkswagen beatle. It just makes sense for heaven's sake. Not everything has to match the children's cartoon from the 80s.
