Um, shut up, they are robots that transform into shit. I'm sure they could change sizes. Also, with as many plot holes in the first movie, I don't think size discrepancy would matter.

Starscream is a little bitch, he should be act like a little bitch. Plus he was never second in command, Soundwave and Shockwave both had higher ranks than Starscream. Soundwave was obviously Megatron's right hand man, while Shockwave was left in control of Cybertron. Starscream was air commander at best, but sometimes he would take cues from Thundercracker and Skywarp.
