This is just me running something up the flag poll to see if anyone salutes, but I'm tired of Rob Halford in ever fucking interview bring up that there are 3 metal gods in Sabbath, Priest, and Maiden. Black Sabbath is unquestionably metal and gods. But when he says Preist and Maiden, not to take anything away, but it sounds like he is just trying to reinforce that he is important. Personally I think Slayer and Pantera > Preist and Maiden. Maybe it is a generational thing.

First thing: Halford is The Metal God, that's his name given to him by his peers and fans

um, lets see, how does the old story go, I heard it a long time ago, something like "Sabbath forged the blade, Priest sharpened it, and Maiden used it."
