lol I would hope so, they are playing terrible competition on a consistent basis. Only 2 teams in the NL right now have 40 wins, 6 in the AL with 40 or more

That's a little misleading. With Milwaukee's win tonight, there are 3 NL teams with 40 wins now, with San Francisco at 39 and Colorado and Florida at 38. Texas and the Angels are barely at that 40 win marker. It's not like there's some huge disparity between the two leagues' win total.

I'll give you that the AL is the better league, but it's not really fair to call the Dodgers' competition horrible when 2 of the NL's top 3 teams in the wildcard race are out of the West. At this point you could argue the West has been the best division in the NL after the entire Central crapped the bed over the past few weeks.

Yeah that's true w/ the 40 win thing, I just looked at it real quick and noticed that. NL West may have a wildcard contender or two in it but if you put the 2nd place team in the NL West in the AL East right now they would be fifth.

NL Central isn't even the worst though, NL East this year is awful - standings wise at least. Mets are barely .500 right now and are only 1.5 games back from 1st
