In fact, Bret cut better promos than HHH ever did back in 97 alone. With Bret, he didnt have to be all flashy or boisterous on the mic...when he spoke, people listened because he had a great knack at making it seem like whatever he had to say was important. He made his storylines look legit, and that in itself takes great talent. That's why he's underrated on the mic.

HHH will cut this 10 minute long...and I mean long winded promo that he could have easily just narrowed down to 3 minutes, because he really doesnt give you much more than that.

Besides that fact, HHH has another negative. All the greats are able to carry their opponents from time to time. HHH can look damn good when in the ring and working with a guy better than he is. But match him up with someone at his level or worse, and you see it...HHH cant do what the greats like Hart, HBK and others can.
