Nine-TEEN.....the word says he's a teenager. And in the case of Richer, he did end up behind bars. Six months to be exact, with three years probation. He got off REALLY, REALLY easy compared to some other guys, but still, a very rough punishment. I just really and truly hope he learned his lesson, won't ever do anything like that again, and that his life won't be ruined, and that he'll still able to reach his dreams, and do what he wants.

I also hope that no psychopath, high and mighty, do-gooder, whackjob vigilante bullies won't harass and/or bully him.

I believe here in the USA, 19 is old enough for oneself to be called a man or woman under the law, especially since 18 is the legal age of majority here.

Odds are, the 60 year old man didn't just become a paedophile (in most cases). That 60-year old man had to have those urges long before he acted on them, and what's not to say a 19 year old kid getting some 13 year old vagina isn't going to keep going after it even later.

The kid didn't go to prison. He got a little jail time, probation, and was forced to be permanently registered as a sex offender. He deserved it. The punishment was not too severe.

Requiem - I am hardly a pedo lover. I love mocking pedos if that counts.

BTW: The men and boys featured on the show are not pedophiles. They're computer predators. Pedophiles target children. The men on "To Catch a Predator" are targeting young teenagers, & they're using the web to do so.

I am not saying what this kid did was right. I am saying the Perverted Justice decoy should have said she likes older guys when he IMed her, and should have told him that he was too young, then she should have blocked him in my view.

If Richer would have grown up to become a computer predator, then he would have gotten caught in due time.
