Xavier is like Gonzaga was for years. A team that is a Sweet 16 caliber team but either missing something to make a deeper run for a Final 4 or always has some moment go against them at the worst time possible.

Crazy though since Xavier is always talented and yet they can never break the glass ceiling to elite or title status team.

Fuck...if we beat Northern Iowa and Tennessee falls, it'll be Michigan State v. Ohio State in the Midwest Regional Final (the 'Elite 8' round)...crazy. It's pretty rare to have a intra-conference match-up in the NCAA's at all, but not unheard of. However, we shall see what each team does tomorrow.

Guess we could all hope that #10 St. Mary's (Ca.) can pull off an upset over #3 Baylor...besides #9 N. Iowa, they're about the only ones left with any sort of 'Cinderella' hopes, as all the rest are like #1-#5 seeds.

I was amazed and somehow quite happy to see #5 Butler knock off #1 Syracuse though. The CBS announcers have been practically pissing themselves over the fact that they might go to the Final 4 in Indianapolis, Butler's hometown.

In my ESPN bracket, i'm in the B.S Report group and i'm ranked 174th out of 27,000. I'm not sure what i'm ranked overall, but i have 3 of my Final Four left ( Butler, Duke, WV ) and i have 6 of the 8 Elite 8 teams. The Kansas region was the one that truely fucked me. I had Kansas vs Georgetown in the Elite 8, but right before the tournament started, i had MSU in the Final Four, not Kansas. I changed it at the last minute. I originally had MSU vs Georgie Tech in the elite 8, then fucked with it. I woulda had all my Final Four still alive and would have had MSU going to the finals vs WV.

I also have KU winning it all in this bracket so i'm screwed there, but if WVU, Duke and Butler win saturday and sunday, i'll have one of the best brackets on ESPN i think.

My bracket is fucking awful but I pretty much expected that. I really only saw Big East games this year, mixed in with a couple teams that were on ESPN all the time like Duke & Kentucky.

I overrated the Big East big time since it was all I really saw but then I also made weird picks where I picked a team like San Diego State even though I've never seen them play lol. No money riding on it at all so whatever.

Kstate is by far a tougher matchup for Butler then Syracuse is. Anyone who watched Butler and the Cuse had to know that Butler could really beat Syracuse. Kstate has guards that shoot 3's and are quick and they have really atletic big men down low. Butler needs to have a hell of a game tommorow.

If Butler loses this game it will be because Jukes is horrible. Stevens needs to take him out of the game right now. I've counted like 5 plays that were either dumb, or that he didnt make because he's dumb. He's playing like he doesnt care. I hope they take him out.
