Vince isn't his employer, as a wrestler he is a self employed private contractor.

And to be fair to the guy WWE does misuse virtually all of its talent.

Also Vince Knows that the Hardy Boys is worth a lot of merch money. Like it or not TNA are getting bigger and more recognised and Vince is aware of that.

Im not even a big Matt Hardy fan but a lot of his gripes with managment were exactly the same gripes as a lot of posters here have about misues of talent etc.

Give the guy a break he is still part of one of the top 5 Tag Teams of all time.

Yeah you would think, except employee's would qualify for health insurance and other benifits that Vince shirks responsibility for. You cant have it both ways. If they are private contractors then once they are signed there isnt much Vince can do unless Matt breaks contract. Otherwise Vince has to break said contract at his own cost.

Its political bullshit and I agree entirely with your premise, but its a loophole for Matt as much as it is for Vince.

Vince is the one writing his checks. Matt may be an "independant contractor", but he was signed exclusively and being paid exclusively by Vince and company.

Just because WWE mishandles talent means nothing. It's not an excuse. You don't bad mouth the company that's paying your bills.

If Vince gave two shits about how marketable the Hardys were, he would've tried to keep Jeff around and not buried Matt in the midcard. Vince already milked the shit out of the Hardy Boys brand. There's nothing left there.

And again, his gripes may have paralleled that of certain fans, but that doesn't allow nor excuse his internet antics of speaking out about it. I understand Matt wants to vent, but that's what friends and family are for. He shouldn't be venting publically for the internet to see. It's not professional, on any level.

And that top 5 tag team shit is a cheap excuse for his behavior.

If he's going to do that, he should go all out and fucking sue for being misclassified as an "Independent Contractor."

At least do some good for someone other than himself.
