Brock cant fight if hes getting hit in the face and its very possible that he would get hit by one of fedor's haymakers before he gets the takedown.
ALSO comparing brocks ground skills to silva's is retarded because they are completely different. Could brock hold fedor down like silva did? Probably, but he holds guys down a completely different way than silva does. If fedor scrambles out, he has no answer other than to lock him down, where silva can transition from postition to position because HES A FUCKING JUJITSU BLACK BELT. |

Yes, Lesnar isnt very good at strikes (YET) but lets look at some facts. 1) Fedor shown in his 2 past fights that he is in bad shape and cant handle guys who are really powerful like Silva. Brock is at least physically strong as Silva is. 2) Lesnar shown in his past 2 fights that he is weak against punches. However lets backtrack just a little bit. When Fedor couldve come into the UFC that was BEFORE Lesnar's surgery when he was running around smashing everyone. Lesnar before and after surgery is not the same lesnar. So, Lesnar back then would've had Fedor on the ground and controlled him. 3) I am not saying Brock would win 100%. But I think there was a VERY serious chance he wouldve won, probably 80% or so. Thats why Fedor and his camp got scared. I think that Brock came back too soon. I am sure he is not 100% after his surgery and may have been affected by it for life. I am sure that if Brock faced his 3 last opponents before his surgery, he would have won decisevely! |
