How irrationally high were your expectations for this? This seemed pretty awesome to me.

And what features would you want to know about the console? Tech specs? The new controller seems like the most important new feature.

Well when they say they're going to reveal Project Cafe, I expect a total reveal. If they'd have said it was gonna be a reveal of just a part of it or just the control, I'd have tempered my expectations accordingly.

Project Cafe was mostly being hyped for how the controller was going to look after all the crazy rumors.

Some rumor from yesterday puts the internal stuff for the system itself at 3 cores each around 3.3 GHz and at least the 8000 series from ATI although I forgot exactly what the name of the card was.

The bigger news is Luigi's Mansion is going to use the 3D stuff that was tested during the Gamecube and the fact of Smash Bros now has a handheld version when Nintendo likes to keep certain series/games exclusive to either their console or handheld. Not surprised at Tecmo bringing in Ninja Gaiden for the Wii U because their deal with Metroid Other M also included future non-Nintendo projects.
