After watching Jericho again, I was thinking... it would be cool if they go with an exaggerated Rock gimmick. Where Jericho literally thinks he's so huge that all he has to do is show up and do the bare minimum. He doesn't even turn heel, he just stays clueless because his ego makes him believe he can just show up when he feels like it and play to the crowd, collect a paycheck and leave.
Oh shit, I would love if they actually did this.
And have him look all hyper and happy as he does it, too.
