No. He is a better recruiter. Not a better coach. Also, it isn't like it is hard to recruit at LSU since Nick Saban rebuilt the program. Remember, his National Title team was a 2-loss team in a clusterfuck year. You can't tell me he didn't have comparable talent to Florida and Alabama during their runs, but he struggled to beat them because they out-coached his ass. He got upset by Arkansas many times because he got out-coached. LSU is like Texas. Who gives a fuck how many championships we win, let's just win all the ones we should, win a "big game" or two, and we'll be fine.
