Didn't that get CM Punk to where he is right now? The better argument would be that Carlito wasn't motivated enough and didn't care to put on a good match. He isn't as passionate about the business as Primo is.

You pretty much just explained the difference between the two. Yeah Punk was frustrated and complained, but he was also ridiculously passionate, and motivated to be the best. He didn't get the big push just on bitching alone.
