Bad sport deals with bad behavior within the boundaries of official gameplay, not engine hacking shit that's a problem for R* and Microsoft to handle. These are two different things. Think of the difference between a team killer and a guy using a glitch to win. Grievers and hackers are two different animals, and a hacker should not get a Bad Sport rating because he's not playing the game he's breaking it.

Blowing up people's cars was quickly identified by R* to be a major costly bummer for people who are invested in their car, so short of banning you, you get a bad rating for doing this a lot. The owner still suffers payments. Remember there is an economy R* has to be mindful of, and a game like GTA Online could easily sway in a trouble maker's favor if not for provisions against them. I agree with getting a bad rating for trashing somebody's car.
