You want these people to have hardware failures and that makes you feel good because they spent money in the process? Sounds like someones jelly. Shit, I kind of don't feel bad for wishing RRoDs upon you anymore. You hope he doesn't have any issues with his launch console, but hope others do? What is your deciding factor on who should/shouldn't get a brick for their hard earned money on launch day? Or are you just trying to save face by saying it wasn't specifically directed at him because he called you on your bullshit? Even if it wasn't aimed specifically at him, you aimed it at day 1 adopters in general, which is a category that he is obviously in, which means the comment is still directed towards him. If you're going to make nonsense statements, stick by them. KK is the only one even near the truth here in that people should know by now that hardware issues are to be expected at launch and said people should be prepared to deal with that. Nearly everything has issues at launch, it is just skewed in the public eye when it comes to consoles because they have such a huge launch day install base. Look at other types of products that have huge launches, such as cell phones; those also always seem to have multitudes of issues reported. Usually happens when you have vastly more people using something as compared to something not many people use at all. People who adopt an item at launch should at least acknowledge the failure potential; however they don't deserve it because they want something first or get it before you, Kalyx. |
