 Actually a good contest, IMO. Macho came along during the era when sports entertainment was becoming a household mainstay, and he carved a path for others to follow. Unique, creative, larger than life, and drew the emotion out of you. HHH was far less groundbreaking as a character, but had the staying power, and was convincing as a champion and sort of an heir to Flair's throne ~2003ish. Who do I love more? The Macho Madness, of course. Who was better? Tougher question. My heart wants to say the Macho King, but my head says Triple H. I just think he was more of that "company leader" type. |
