Actually a good contest, IMO.

Macho came along during the era when sports entertainment was becoming a household mainstay, and he carved a path for others to follow. Unique, creative, larger than life, and drew the emotion out of you.

HHH was far less groundbreaking as a character, but had the staying power, and was convincing as a champion and sort of an heir to Flair's throne ~2003ish.

Who do I love more? The Macho Madness, of course. Who was better? Tougher question. My heart wants to say the Macho King, but my head says Triple H. I just think he was more of that "company leader" type.

Lol, seriously though, that was an impossible spot. Maybe his arrogance made him think he could pull it off, or maybe he was forced into it and tried to deliver, but it was a mission to nothing.

HHH got the largest pop of the night tonight and he wasn't even there.
