Been listening to the new(est) Machine Head album. I've had it for a little while now, and I'm rediscovering it.

My thoughts are...if they were capable of recording this album while recording The Burning Red and Supercharger...why the fuck didn't they record it?! It's truly one of the best pieces they've created.

Also been listening to the new(est) Hatebreed album...and while I thought, at first listen, it just wasn't as good as Perseverance, I've discovered that not only was I wrong, but that the album is simply better. By far and away. While I felt satisfied listening to Perseverance after the first five or so tracks, I can listen to track after track after track of the newest one, and never get bored of it.
