Some of that is the indie stuff I listen to, I have also been listening to Rilo Kiley and The Arcade Fire.

If you want, my cousin has a band and I heavily enjoy them...you might as well, who knows. The link is www.minorbroadcast.net. His band is "Kicks to Hypnotize" and then the singer/guitarist has some solo stuff that is wicked awesome under "Scott Steele".
