What makes me enjoy Cole so much is how much of a doucher he is on every milisecond of WWE programing that isn't NXT. He gets to drop the faggy ass face announcer role and just do 'his thing'.

Also it hasn't been mentioned in here but LOL @ Stryker and Matthews after the incident saying how bad it was to attack an announcer but that Cole totally deserved it.

Josh Mathews has been underrated the entire time during NXT, in my opinion. The guy is a great commentator, and he can do both color and play-by-play. He's had a pretty stable job, and is always popping up, but he deserves credit for playing a non-bland face announcer next to Cole.

I always liked Mathews since Tough Enough, but never in a "Oh yeah this guy's gonna go places" sense. So I'm glad to see he's found something that works for him and is getting better and better at it.

If Michael Cole ever becomes a heel character outside of the announce booth, it would make sense to move Josh Mathews either to RAW or SmackDown! (depending on where they want The Grish). I will be very happy with Mathews calling a main show. He works so well with Matt Striker, but even a Mathews/King tandem sounds...intriguing. I just can't see Josh rolling over for King, and giving the RAW announce table a much needed personality boost.
