It would happen here and a podcast would just be an audio recount. But nooooo. Luckily, I am not 14 years old, so people getting really triggered and calling me names doesn't shame me into doing what they want, which in turn leads to more triggered name calling. If anything, I find it amusing that they try to portray themselves as superior intellectually, and they back up their claims by calling us cumdorxs or derpefects. I mean, Bravo right

In all seriousness, I would do ONE Raw review just for the novelty of it. Even listening to Jim Cornette constantly talk about current wrestling has made him unlistenable though. And I fucking love listening to Jim Cornette otherwise.

Ok, I've heard the "old man yells at cloud" comparison numerous times, and its a bad take.

The old man is yelling at the cloud for no apparent reason. That's the joke. Whenever Cornette takes umbrage with anything, he explains in great detail why it's bad, and how it could be done better. And all of his critiques are based on one simple, fundamental principle of wrestling that is never outdated, or out of style. The principle that wrestling is always at its very best when everything makes sense.

Too much of anything can always get tiresome. And its perfectly fine to say you're not interested in cornette's modern wrestling reveiws. A little of cornette's personality goes a long way, and even as a fan of his show, I dont listen to every episode. But this narrative that he's a rambling old man who's ranting for the sake of ranting needs to stop, because thats not whats happening.

He does the reviews on both podcasts. It would be great if he just designated one podcast as the “current wrestling review podcast” and left them off the other but that would leave some reviews a week outdated and I guess that’s an issue.

He usually fits in some Q&A that introduces older shit but if his podcast is 4 hours it’s a safe bet at LEAST 2 and a half hours is reviews of current stuff.

And in his defense, he IS much less biased than people claim. He’s relatively complimentary of a lot of AEW stuff. I just don’t care enough to listen to current wrestling reviews and would rather hear old stuff.
