I remember Saturn getting suspended and shit for that.
Yeah, pretty sure it was a hiptoss. Afterwards you could hear Perry scream "He dropped me on my fucking head!" or something to that effect to the ref. Then Perry just beat the shit out of the poor guy. I felt bad for him. Hell rookies make mistakes, the guy's nervousness was probably what caused the botch. As a wrestler I've learned that if a guy purposely stiffs you, stiff his ass back. But if a rookie accidentally botches a move you handle it in a professional manner not beat the living Hell out of the guy. I heard that the whole "Moppy" gimmick was Saturn's punishment for what he did to Mike Bell.

Didn't Bubba Ray Dudley shoot on Triple H not too long ago? As I recall, Bubba dropped the guy right on his head during a tag match on Raw; can't remember if he purposely stiffed him or just screwed up.

There's a sequence of moves where Sasuke has Taka in the corner, hitting him with punches and kicks. Eventually Taka slumps to the floor in the corner. Sasuke continues kicking him, but Taka appears to at least attempt to block the strikes. As Sasuke moves away, Taka drops his hands only to receive a spinning back kick right in the face.

This is a difficult one for me to judge - if it was a work and not a shoot, then Taka sold it very very well. But the kick looked too hard and too technically correct for it to be a work.

Have you guys seen this match? What do you think?
Yeah, just watched that last night. That looked NASTY. I think it was just more of the Great Sasuke being irresponsible/reckless with his kicks and not a shoot.

I love how Taka immediately gets up and looks like he's gonna kill Sasuke and then he just stops and tries the sell the move like it knocked him out.
