According to several sources, Tomko had been told by WWE creative that he and Gene Snitsky would be put together and given a push after Wrestlemania 22. At last night's Raw taping in Chicago, Snitsky was paired as a tag team with Goldust, which will be a regular undercard tandem. Upon realizing that he was not going to get his promised push, Tomko immediately approached WWE management, informed them of his unhappiness over the situation and then requested a release. I was told this morning the request had been granted, so Tomko is done with the company. Tomko's biggest push during his WWE run was during the time period he was seconding Christian Cage as Christian's "Problem Solver."
