Midnight Express (Lane/Eaton of course) Road Warriors British Bulldogs Arn & Tully Steiners (pre-back injury..when Scott could hit a Frankensteiner) Edge & Christian Dudleyz (esp during the heel run in the ECW) RVD/Sabu WGTT Benoit/Malenko (Horsemen edition) Honorable Mention: Terry Gordy/Stan Hansen, Impact Playaz, The Islanders, The Varsity Club (Rotunda/Williams), and the Rockers (on a side note..this list reminds me of a WWF Primetime where the final match was a re-broadcast of a closed circuit match from MSG of Dynamite Kid/Bret Hart match at the height of the Bulldogs Foundation feud...at the time, two midcarders, 20 minutes..a technical masterpiece...one of the best matches I've ever seen and I've never seen a copy of it anywhere...) |
