I love that bret is back but it doesn't make any sense. WWE is PG which appeals to little, young kids. that's right young kids, so Bret Hart is going to come on TV and the little kid will say, "Dad, is the man wearing pink girly?"

The idea of a match like the one Austin had against Bischoff where he just beat the piss out of him for 10 minutes makes me salivate.

Not to mention, I'm going to the Raw being held in San Diego, and the idea of seeing Bret Hart live for the first time in nearly 15 years, in a hot Wrestlemania fued no less, gets me excited. I cannot fucking wait.

If they do actually go with Bret vs Vince, I'd LOVE, if Bret is willing to do it, to have Shawn interfere. Basically never have Shawn come into it at all until Mania then he tries to screw Bret but Bret gets the last laugh.

WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart appeared on yesterday's edition of Wrestling Observer Radio on F4Wonline.com and here are some of the highlights:

* Bret said he doesn't have faith in Eric Bischoff or Hulk Hogan when it comes to recreating the Monday Night Wars with TNA. He respects TNA as a company and hope it brings competition for the sport but doesn't think they're going to do anything major. Bret said Hogan has played himself out to the American audience and doesn't have anything to offer anymore.

* He feels he still has lots of ideas and different things he can contribute to wrestling. His ideal job in the business right now would be something similar to what John Laurinaitis does for WWE. He would want to be involved in planning matches and storylines.

* TNA has always been good to him as far as extending offers go.

* Bret says he is a big fan of Randy Orton's work these days but not impressed with the repetitive storylines he's been involved in. He also said he's impressed with Kofi Kingston and is a fan of Melina, calling her creative and very imaginative when it comes to doing her moves. He also feels everything Sheamus is doing right now is impressive and also is a big fan of Jack Swagger. Bret feels Swagger has good potential to be a top wrestler and character.

* He would loved to have wrestled Kurt Angle and David Hart Smith. He also would have loved to work as a heel against John Cena because he feels they could have told a good story together. He hinted that Cena's abilities in the ring are limited but he is still good.

* As far as all the news about his WWE return, Bret said he can't talk about the rumors but did say that he was talking with WWE and "we will see what happens.

I’d have Bret Hart host the January 4th RAW and start the show with Hart and Shawn Michaels. They bury the hatchet in the ring and shake hands. Michaels then does a 180 and starts to verbally bury Hart. Vince McMahon, in the weeks following Hart’s appearance, backs everything Michaels has said. At the Royal Rumble, Hart’s music hits to distract Michaels. Michaels is sent flying from the ring, after the distraction. Michaels, fuming, heads to the back and tears the HD apart.

Hart shows up again on RAW and calls Michaels out. Hart says he may be old, but still has enough for one last fight. They book a Street Fight for WrestleMania and build up from there. Michaels is really good at carrying wrestlers to something good, while letting them really shine. Michaels, methodically and with a grin, puts Hart in the Sharpshooter, but Hart reverses the Sharpshooter into the Sharpshooter. Michaels cries in pain and taps out.

Hart/Vince is the likely match, but Michaels is the best bet to work a match with him while carrying him in a way that lets Hart look like a star.

This is what I would love to see:

At the end of an epic face to face promo in the middle of the ring between Bret and Shawn, Shawn is aplogizing for The Screwjob & asking for forgiveness.

Bret is about to explode, raises his fist in anger...but stops...pauses and says "Shawn, there's only one thing I can think of that you could do for me that would make us even. The way I see it, you owe me a favor."

Shawn: "A favor?"

Bret: "Yeah, a favor."

Shawn: "Ok, you name it...but then we're even?"

Bret: "Yeah, Even. Grab your bag, we're going on a road trip."


The following Raw they show various road trip clips of the two driving to an unknown destination and Bret still won't tell Shawn what the "favor" is.

Finally they pull up to a large house and Bret parks the car.

Shawn: "Who's house is this? What do you want me to do?"

Bret: "Just go ring the doorbell, I'm sure you can figure it out for yourself."

Shawn slowly walks up to the door, looks around paranoid-like and rings the door bell.

The door opens, and an unseen person with a familiar deep voice says "Shawn? What are you doing here?"

Shawn looks back at Bret in the car, Bret nods. Shawn looks down, shakes his head in disbelief....then delivers THE MOTHER of all Sweet Chin Music's to the unseen person in the doorway.

Shawn steps in the doorway and stands over....AN UNCONSCIOUS GOLDBERG!

Shawn: "Hi Bill. Bret sends his regards."

Shawn returns to the car and sits in the passenger seat with his head down, looking ashamed of himself.

Bret (smiles & shakes Shawn's hand): NOW we're even. Let's go see Vince.

Car drives away...END RAW.
