ALMOST made it to the end of the sugar mill without waking any witches. nick ran into one at the end in the field. the computer did very well up to that point.

I played the demo for 360 the other day. The controls were very slippery and I did not enjoy it at all for that reason.

Is the real game like that? Is the sensivitiy bad and do you slip all over the place?

Don't know what you're talking about. Seems fine. Also check options. Most FPS games have adjustments for that.

It's called sensitivity. When you turn left or right. If you gently push to move your person left, do you do a complete circle or do you move slowlllly to the left? It's how fast you turn around....

adjust the sensitivity. i had to max out the horizontal and put the vertical on 6 or something

A few notes: the game looks amazing, it's fun and I like the fact that they tied the "films" together. The only real issue is that so much stuff is going on at once you miss a lot. Also, the maps aren't nearly as intuitive as those from L4D.

I've yet to get a good look at the spitter, I've killed a few dozen now too.

Left 4 Dead 2 add-on 'The Passing' to feature L4D1 cast

Not content with unleashing a full-blown zombie apocalypse, Valve has come up with the second most socially awkward event imaginable: inviting characters from the original Left 4 Dead to hang out in the sequel's first add-on. Bill, Louis, Zoey and Francis will meet with the stars of Left 4 Dead 2 in "The Passing," which Valve VP of marketing Doug Lombardi calls "the most important campaign in the Left 4 Dead story, as all the Survivors are being called together in one campaign." It's targeted for release in early 2010 on Xbox 360 and PC.

In addition to a co-op campaign (set in rural Georgia) and a new "co-operative challenge mode of play," The Passing will offer new content for Survival, Versus and Scavenge modes. Playing as the L4D2 cast, you can also expect to encounter a new melee weapon, firearm and "uncommon common" zombie.

We can't wait to meet up with last year's survivors again ... oh, assuming they really are still survivors.

Not content with unleashing a full-blown zombie apocalypse, Valve has come up with the second most socially awkward event imaginable: inviting characters from the original Left 4 Dead to hang out in the sequel's first add-on. Bill, Louis, Zoey and Francis will meet with the stars of Left 4 Dead 2 in "The Passing," which Valve VP of marketing Doug Lombardi calls "the most important campaign in the Left 4 Dead story, as all the Survivors are being called together in one campaign." It's targeted for release in early 2010 on Xbox 360 and PC.

In addition to a co-op campaign (set in rural Georgia) and a new "co-operative challenge mode of play," The Passing will offer new content for Survival, Versus and Scavenge modes. Playing as the L4D2 cast, you can also expect to encounter a new melee weapon, firearm and "uncommon common" zombie.

We can't wait to meet up with last year's survivors again ... oh, assuming they really are still survivors.
So are they saying there will be 8 survivors on one team for this campaign?

Since they're already doing this, I'd like to see them implement the original maps into the L4D2 engine, that would be awesome. Maybe make it a requirement to own the original game, at least for the PC version.

My wife and I played this for a good week non stop for a while. Now it just sits and collects dust on the shelf next to a few other games of mine.

Never took it online but hopefully will get back to it soon since my friends are finally getting their xbox live fixed.

Fucking awesome that they're bringing No Mercy to L4D2. Was easily my favorite in the first one.

Just got the 360 version a few weeks ago and have been having a blast off and on. So glad they're still developing for it.
