Honest to God, Legend of Korra is one of the best animated series I've ever seen. The animation's phenomenal, and the characters are extremely well-written; Korra may be the best example I've seen of an animated action-heroine that kicks ass without dragging the series down in some ham-fisted 'girl power' message. It does such a great job of building on the foundations that Avatar laid out, while still being an incredibly entertaining story in its own right.

Also, I can't look at Amon without immediately thinking Doctor Doom. Which is appropriate, considering that Legend of Korra is essentially a steampunk superhero series.

I mark out about every episode.

It is paramount to watch Airbender in its entirety to enjoy the little nods and gags they sneak in every episode. I fucking love this show.

Yes, it was good. I finished it the night I posted about it. I hear there is supposed to be a second season, but there isn't an established villain unless Dr. Doom survived the boat explosion.

So we'll have a new villain/conflict. I doubt they'd undermine the Blood Bending brothers' final scene by having one of them survive. It's the first onscreen death of the series, it's gonna remain.

That makes some sense I guess. Koh is in the spirit world, and Korra has trouble with that sort of thing. I could see a lot of spirit world adventures in the next season.

Would be interesting seeing that... thing come and cause trouble. But he's only confined to the spirit realm, right?

I would like some new flashbacks to the adult Team Avatar. This maybe just me, but I swear the way Toph delivered her old nickname for Aang had a tone of flirtation.

Started watching the first series about an hour ago. Some chick I know is a huge fan of it and recommended I watch it since I watched the movie and hated it. 3 episodes in and I love it so far. It's great.
