Well I think he's a 30/30 man. Micheals has @ a 400 OBP, and less power, I'd have him leading off.

(I see the Tribe signed Sizemore for 6 years for a pretty cheap price)

Keep in mind Michaels put up a .400 OBP 1. in 105 games 2. almost only facing lefties 3. in the National League. If Michaels can have a .400 OBP as a regular player in the AL, then he should lead off, but I doubt that he can do that. Sizemore is the right choice for now.

Yeah I was thinking about that after posting it. Michaels is yet to prove himself as a fulltime player. Sizemore himself doesn't have a ton of major league experience but he proved himself last year. Another year of development wouldn't hurt. Hopefully for his and the Tribes' sake being the leadoff hitter doesn't affect him adversely. It has others in the past..

Finally back on, the Indians don't have a very impressive lineup IMO. They have some big guys, but they aren't going to win the division. As long as Chicago's pitchers don't blow it, the central race should end early again.

It used to be tradition for the Reds to start off the season, this is why the president throws out the first pitch there instead of his home team or whatnot. But it makes no sense for someone to complain out it now... the Reds haven't had "opening night" in 3 years.

If Foulke can get his shit together I really don't see how the Red Sox aren't the favorite in the AL East. Kinda wish they would just give up on Keith Foulke and his 85 MPH fastball and use Papelbon as the closer.
