It's the opening of the game. I can't think of many games that show everything they've got in the opening few minutes.

However, anyone calling it innovative is a bit...strange. It will be a mishmash of different free roaming game types. But it'll also be better written than 90% of the games out there thanks to Schafer and co.

It's the opening of the game. Which kind of shows that it's nothing more than a mishmash of old game types. Featuring an annoying twat who can't act (well, maybe he can't, be he hasn't) and what looks like it will be repetitive gameplay.

I agree. Attempted to go through the demo something like three times now before getting interrupted. But have no problems picking back up from the start, and trying again. Definitely give it a rent later on.

It's actually a fun game guys. Plus it has 8 player multiplayer so it's pretty kickass. Plus you get to kill emo kids. How can a game get any better??

More KISS songs on the soundtrack is about all I can think of.

Truthfully, everytime I see a commercial it looks fun, but I just never do the research on it to see what it's about or see what the reviews are. Kind of like with Borderlands, I saw the commercial on it the other day and it looked awesome, but nothing more than that.

I wasnt really sure if I wanted to get the game untill I played the demo a few weeks back. I fell in love with it. Havnt had a chance to play it yet thanks to a new baby and my wifes mom popping in for a few weeks. But hopefully I will be able to sit down with it soon.

The cast involved (that aren't purely from the metal world) give me hope that it will have a lot of personality. Might give it a rent. It seems like a game one of my mates will pick up, test play for me, and then I can either borrow it or buy it myself.

I'm not really huge into RTS but they don't play that big a part. I think there's about 5-6 of them through the course of the story. I ended up missing some of the unlocks that give your team stat buffs/opposition team debuffs i.e. made it stupidly hard for myself, managed to make it through them though. It's not an RTS in itself, but it does include RTS elements called stage battles. So in truth, it's an action game with RTS segments, only a few of them at that. Granted the online is only an RTS, but still.

Yeah I had to heal it a few times, and the fog and speakers came in handy a couple times. The stage lights, not so much. DD the first few times I ended up getting swamped because after a while there were like 10 vehicles all coming at once, both the lightning ones and the debuffer ones (whose effects stack). I don't see why not calling it an RTS game is that outrageous. I don't remember driving around and beheading things being part of the Command & Conquer series. Can understand why though because calling it that would maybe put some people off. I hate RTS stuff normally but this is relaxed and involved enough that it doesn't really feel like that. If people aren't sure they can always rent, although I don't know that the replayability is too great.

Probably my least favorite Tim Schafer game. Wasn't a big fan of the combat, and I don't plan on playing any multiplayer. But I was definitely missing some guitar solos and did very few double team attacks, so I wasn't playing the game very well either.

But after Act I, I lost most sense of the humor. My only real exceptions would be the characters you met through the side missions (which, unfortunately, were the same four or five side missions over and over).

I have still yet to play this. Been playing Infamous and was going to go to this next but since then Ive picked up Smackdown. This may be one of those games that stay in the wrapping for a good half a year before I play it.

Atleast its not one of the few games ive had that ive had for over 2 years and never opened.
