I say Hardy wins the ladder match at Homecoming. What was it Hardy said? This whole thing is a 5-part story? SummerSlam was part 1, the street fight was part 2, Unforgiven was part 3, I guess you could say this 8-man was part 4, and the ladder match will be part 5. Just a guess.

I would have popped for a Show heel turn after all of that. I thought it was gonna happen since it was too happy, but we can't have someone be bigger than Mr. Helmsly now, can we? Anyways, great show for the main event and anything related to it. Flair/Cool went on toooo long IMO, that and I dont like Flair as IC champ.

And guys, it's been great joining you guys on these threads every week. I may be back one day, but just not like today. GOODBYE EVERYBODY!

Okay, some quick thoughts from me...

A. Did anyone hear Coach take a shot at Torrie? I can't remember the exact quote, but he basically said she was terrible in the ring.

B. You know, I'm assuming Hardy will win at Homecoming... But what if Eric B. beats Cena.... Of course it won't happen, but wouldn't it be odd if it did, and then Hardy used the MITB contract then to beat Eric for the title.... Then Hardy could drop it to Kurt on the next Raw... Good stuff.

Nevertheless, Edge has practically fought everyone on Raw.... Unfortunately, Hardy will probably be SOL after this if he stays on Raw... While Edge would be much better on Smackdown, I think w/o Edge, Hardy can only survive on Smackdown.

Also, if Edge leaves, does Lita go with him?

Wow, I never thought about that. I assumed that Cena would win the match after Eric makes it a Street Fight or something and all the heels come down and get thrown out by Cena one-by-one. It would actually be pretty awesome to see Eric Bischoff cheat to win after a bunch of interference and him threatening to fire anyone who tried to stop it, and then have Bischoff say he's going to give the belt to Kurt Angle when Hardy runs down and says he's cashing in his title shot against Bischoff now!

That would turn a negative into a positive, plus SmackDown! gets another heel in Edge. Edge vs. The Undertaker, Edge vs. Rey Mysterio, Edge vs. Chris Benoit and Edge vs. Booker T are all fairly fresh matches. Edge vs. Benoit has been done, but under the blue-light it would be apretty interesting. The same would go for Edge vs. Batista.

Plus you'd then get Edge & Christian on the same brand. E&C together (even if it is in a loose "because they're bad guys" sense) is some seriously good stuff. Hell, I would love to see Edge & Christian try and beat The Dudley Boyz record of Tag Team Championships under the WWE sun. Bubba Ray & D-Von have nine reigns (8 World and 1 WWE), so all Edge & Christian need are three WWE and they're there (in a way). That would also make them the first and only three-time WWE Tag Team Champions. I would mark out for a Los Conquistadores vs. Mexicools feud.

Going to SD! would really freshen Edge up, get him away from Lita, and could possibly allow him to turn face. Right now I'm salivating for a funny, arrogant Edge ala Reeking of Awesomeness days. Plus you'd have four of the SmackDown! six on SD! again.

There is 0 chance that Matt wins next week. Think of the backstage repercussion of having Matt and Lita on the same show. Plus there isn't a chance that they will move Lita to Smackdown since she is one of only three female wrestlers on Raw.

But the WWE clearly doesn't want to go in "that direction." By that direction, I mean women who can wrestle. So it wouldn't be surprising if they decided to move Lita over. After all, they're the same company who took an indy wrestler apparently of some caliber and turned her into the deformed chick who can barely catfight.
