There's no way in hell I'd pay for it unless each one costed half of a full price, or full price if both games come in one box.
The only good things that I could see coming out of it is the fact that with one game for each brand, there's a likely chance that every wrestler on the active WWE roster would be in one of the games. Another cool feature could be the use of memory cards. Say you put in the Raw disk. Imagine there being an option called "Roster Edit". From here on one side you'd have a list of all the Raw wrestlers and on the other all the SmackDown wrestlers. Imagine being able to make "trades" between the games. Like, say on the Raw side you selected Rob Van Dam and on the Smackdown side you select John Cena. Save the game on memory card and voila, when you go to the character select screen you have Cena in the game instead of RVD. Then if you put in the Smackdown disk (w/ the same memory card used in the Raw disk) , RVD would be a selectable character instead of John Cena. This would be a cool feature because you could customize the brand extension to your liking AND you'd have the entire WWE roster at your disposal, so you wouldn't have to waste CAW space creating guys left out. |
