I can't recall the year, but the Royal Rumble had a few guys in it who weren't even a part of the WWF. This was before we had the internet so news didn't spread so fast, and I didn't know anything about wrestling in Japan. Whomever was doing play by play talked about how "So and so here is from Japan. Everyone wants to win the Royal Rumble!"
