To clarify, Garza has been tearing the shit up in the minors, hence his progression to AAA. I expect him to be a more than decent pitcher in his career, but maybe not so much if they call him up this season.

Frank Thomas is the comeback player of the year IMO. Hasn't played at all in 3 years and the A's would probably be in last without him (currently in 1st)

lol just read a story about Dave Roberts on CBSSportsLine and how he still gets letters from Red Sox fans thanking him for stealing the base. I didn't even realize he had 0 ABs in the World Series, pretty crazy. I guess some fan sent him a base and Roberts signed it with the date he stole the base, that seems like a pretty cool idea I might actually do that so I add to it to my "sports hallway"

WOW. Zumaya walks Mauer, but then owns Cuddyer with his gas. You can tell he is getting going, then Morneau comes up and BANG. First pitch just drills his 30th home run into right field to win the game. Amazing.
