Isn't there a "Madden Curse" or something where something always happens to the player that gets on the Madden cover?

I don't remember who came before but last year was Donovan McNabb, and the year before was Ray Lewis.

So yeah you could definitely argue there's something weird going on there. Dunno, maybe some guy will come through the hole Hutchison would've been filling and take out Alexander's ACL
