Maybe but there's something awfully hypocritical of him having a go at Barca players considering the way that Arsenals goal came about.

One of the linesmen got dropped for being caught in a Barca shirt before the game.

Perhaps the ref should have as well

Barca was the better team, of course they were going to score some goals when Arsenal let them set up and attack the whole second half. Anyway, that red card should have been counted as a goal and the game should have been totally different.

Last thing, Henry's cross on the Arsenal goal was so good. Is he considered one of the top free kick takers right now? Just kind of sucks that the free kick came off a terrible, terrible flop.

In all honestly, regardless of me being an Arsenal supporter, this is absolutely fantastic news for English football. Premiership just wouldn't be the same without him.

Thierry Henry has ended months of speculation about his future by signing a new four-year contract with Arsenal.

Is there something unclear about that sentance?

Didier Drogba wants to quit Chelsea and leave the Premiership behind because he is sick of being labelled a cheat.

The Ivory Coast striker, who is going to the World Cup this summer, has been involved in a number of incidents in the last couple of seasons which has led to him being labelled a diver.

Now the 28-year-old, a £24million signing from Marseille two seasons ago, has had enough. "It's not a joke. I want to move on and avoid all the pressure and scandals here," he told The Sun.

Drogba added: "Those things hurt my feelings. I want a place I can play freely without any drawbacks.

"You should know what a player goes through with so much pressure."

Drogba said he will only move to a club in the Champions League and is eyeing up a move to Italy.

"I admire AC Milan. But anywhere I go, the Champions League will be there waiting for me," said Drogba.

-----

I can imagine Kenyon on the phone trying to convince Milan to do a part-ex deal, Drogba for Shevchenko

Oh, update

Didier Drogba is set to have his feelings hurt once again, after Jose Mourinho said there's no way he's leaving Stamford Bridge.

Drogba told The Sun "I want to move on and avoid all the pressure and scandals. Those things hurt my feelings," but his plea will fall on deaf ears as far as Jose Mourinho is concerned.

"He has two years left on his deal and we consider him to be not negotiable," said the Portuguese.

"He has no chance of leaving. He has to play for Chelsea."

Mourinho insisted that if the player was unhappy, he would be allowed to stay at Chelsea and rot.

"If he plays with happiness, fantastic, because we get the best of him. If not, he doesn't play. It's his problem."

Mourinho added that AC Milan are in exactly the same situation with Andriy Shevchenko, a target for the Blues:

"As for Shevchenko, we would like to bring him, but he's a Milan player and he has a long-term contract with them.

"Milan have the power, like we have the power with Drogba, and my feeling is that they don't want to sell and they will keep him.

"I like the player and I would like to have him - but a lot of clubs want Drogba and they can't have him."

---

I love the way Mourinho deals with want-away players.

It must be nice to know you're still expendable when the club has spent 24 million pounds on you.

I'd imagine he'll possibly be Bergkamp's replacement rotating with Van Persie, yeah. Assuming Pires goes Reyes would probably be shifted left wing, Ljungberg right, and then Hleb can do backup to both of them.

Arsenal just never release a fee about who they sign. Papers will call it undisclosed for a bit then say around 10-15 then pick 12 and all will stick to it and it will be gospel.

Rosicky is class he'll be great for them

Yeah I've seen £7m reported as well, bargain at that price.

That is true.

I personally can't see them using Rosicky as a second striker as he doesn't score too many, maybe Wenger's reverting to 4-5-1 after it's success in the champions league/the fact that Adebayor isn't very good.

If not then just for the depth i guess. But good signing.

Maybe he doesn't score too many because he hasn't been played as a second striker

I don't think 3-0 was deserved, but they were never going to score.

Gonna be harder to get up this season too probably.

US looked AWFUL tonight, lost 0-1 to Ghana. I'm not sure if it had something to do with being on a football (American) pitch, but the movement and control was just awful. Remember France 98.
