For any bandwagon jumper's information: Buy your #6 "JOHNSON" Blues jerseys now. I've been going to training camp for the last couple days, and the guy is a man amongst boys. He's beating forwards that start off with one to two strides on him in the drills, and has been fantastic in scrimmages.

Yeah, I know he won't be with my boys in '06-'07, but once he comes up, watch the hell out.

Ha ha ha and to top it off Garth Snow had to retire as a player to take the jon and since he;s over 35, his contract still applies to the Islanders salaary cap so they basically lose 750k to gain an complete moron as GM.

Isles fans can look forward to miss and lost opportunities as GM Garth Snow is too buy hitting on hot girls to make a decision.

Auld is a Thunder Bay boy and I question how good he is going to be. I think he would be a great back up for any team. As a starter? I don't know.

Belfour is a pretty selfish guy. That's good when you're at the peak of your career, but I don't think it's going to do the team in Florida any good at this stage of his career. Auld won 30+ games for the Canucks last year. Don't discount that, especially given the fact the 'Nucks under achieved.

Yeah but Auld didn't have to face the most shots in the league like Luongo did, Florida's defense has been terrible, it's really no wonder why Luongo wanted out.

Luongo made it pretty clear he was at very least completely unhappy with the direction of the team. Unless you think it is pure coincidence that he seemingly only wanted to sign a one year deal with Florida yet had no problems signing long term with the Canucks

Um, Luongo wanted a 5+ year deal fom Florida. He stated that he thought they were close to coming to that agreement when he was traded. He also stated he didn't want to leave Florida. He made these points more than once in interviews.

He also stated that he wasn't very happy in Flordia. He also said he didn't like the direction the team was going. Also in one interview he said that he didn't want to sign long term with the Panthers. Luongo has said a lot of things. If he really wanted to stay in Flordia it would of happend.

There's rumblings that the Flyers and Canucks might swing a Naslund for Gagne deal. I just don't think Gagne is gifted enough for such a trade. *might* be a cap move by the Canucks though if they do it. They are hurting with only 10Mil. left to spend on 10+ guys.(something like that) That's the only thing I can figure as to why they'd do it.
