I finished it on Sunday and I never expected to race through the story, it just engrossed me so I demanded to get more and more of the story.

No biggie, I put it on again today to do some more side missions and it should tide me over until some DLC comes out

Even if you do race through (I think I'm about 75% through the story, just opened the third island) you still have the side missions to do (which I'm saving for after the story) and multiplayer. It is a pretty engrossing storyline.

For me it comes down to the multiplayer, that's going to keep me on the game longer than any other GTA, and I played the GTA3 series to death and then some.

Had the game for a week now and I'm only at like 15% I keep doing a mission...and then I get distracted with all the other stuff for a long time.

I have not said no to hanging out with anyone yet, and I love to go steal cars for Brucie, when he sends the emails So I only have gotten maybe 16-17% done so far.

I'm finding all of the text message cars for stevie, found the super gt yesterday and got 35 grand for it

Yeah, took me a couple tries. Best bet is to buy some body armor beforehand. There is a gun store right near the hospital that sells it.

Tips for the rest in black:

Take out the two guys on the left side of the building from the parking lot, with your sniper rifle, and anyone else you see inside. Then go around to the back of the building. There should be a ladder there. Climb up and take cover immediately. Take out the couple guys on the second level and then drop down. As long as you use cover you should be able to kill them without losing much, if any damage.

As for escapaping police, make sure you know where the front exit is, so you dont get disoriented. Pull out an smg so you can run faster, shooting anyone who gets in your way. With the body armor, you should be able to make it to the pick up truck on the grass. From there, its up to you to lose your wanted level, although you may have to switch vehicles, as the cops will pelt the truck with shotguns as you escape. Three stars isn't that hard to lose tho.

For an even easier method, when the swat team show up, just haul ass out of there as quickly as possible, find the gap in the fence (look for it before you enter the hospital in the first place if that helps) then just throw yourself into the water, there will be a speedboat to the left, get in it, get to open water, and you'll outrun any police with no problems.

Every time that option has presented it's self, I've picked A. Fuck B.

In fact I've used the shotgun to shoot and quite often one shot is enough.

During the game I was using A as the handbrake instead of RB and also using weapons to kill people within the game.

You can also choose not to kill the jewish dude on the bottom story of the three jewish dudes mission. There's choices throughout this game.

This game is fantastic. I got it at the midnight release at my local gamestop, which had a line of about 5-600 people. Had to get there like 4 hours early to get a decent place in line.

The only gripe I have is that there is way less optional/bonus activities and missions than in previous GTA games. But I understand that this is due to the jump in technology from the previous gen GTA games to this. Just as VC and SA had way more to do than GTAIII, the next game (or possibly the DLC) will obviously address this. Either way, hella fun game. In fact, I think it is time to pick up Brucie, get drunk, and go bang some broads.

You get to date Packie's sister later in the game, even though he tells you not to when you first meet him.
