This shit better be good this time around, Everything since HCTP has just become a complete letdown. WWE 24/7 sounds alright though, hopefully season mode is gonna be a whole new book this time.

I was a bit put out when I heard that the unique fighting styles was actually just 8 fighting styles, whats the betting the moves are dependent on those again so lets say Brock Lesnar (Yeah I know he wont be in the game) is a Grappler/Brawler, he wont be able to do the shooting star press because that move is a lightweight move

Struggle submission system is the new big thing? Wow...how unimpressive.


The right analogue control system sucks too. And as far as graphics and detail goes, nothings really changed, although I'll watch those videos in a sec.

Things that NEED to be changed

-Weight detection needs to be kicked in the face and seriously sorted out. What was wrong with the old system?

-We need a GOOD new grapple system, the right analogue system sucks, quick and slow moves were just pointless. And pulling off any move just made every match seem slow and sluggish. Either a complete overhaul, or just revert back to the HCTP days.

-Season mode needs to be alot better, if we are gonna get the same old road to wrestlemania shit, I want to at least play out every single week of the year, rather than going from Backlash, to Summerslam, to Survivor Series to Royal Rumble and then Wrestlemania. Voice overs are not essential, only put them in if you can do an amazing job with the season mode.

-The general feel of the game needs to be changed, after a few plays of SvR 07, it just feels worn out, and like a typical wrestling game. The crowd have gotta be alive.

-FOR FUCK SAKE CHANGE THE COMMENTARY OR DONT PUT ANY IN.

I don't know why everyone hates the control stick scheme, I personally prefer it over the button layout. It seems more natural, especially with running moves and the like.

The right stick control system was the best thing they did last year, I prefer it over the button layout.

If 24/7 Mode is going to live up to the hype it's been getting, it better not prove to be another half-assed season mode like we've been getting since HCTP. Seriously.

I was just thinking today that if they can have expansions for Oblivion that adds on a whole new world with new characters and places and shit, then SURELY they can have roster updates on this game and even new arenas and shit.

This is, of course, assuming ECW really is meant to be "equal" to Raw and SD in this game (which I'd assume means roster size). Still, I can't quite see them putting Guido or Mike Knox in. But you never know.

As for legends, I'd guess we'll probably get more of the same. The one major change I can see is we'll go back to having one Foley. That would free up 2 legend spots that would probably go to JBL (so that each show has a playable commentator), and Vince or something.

Saw a vid on Gamespot saying there's gonna be no HUDs this year and that the superstar's actions will speak for themselves (so that you'll know whats injured and all that).

The only confusion I can see is not knowing when you have a finisher stored.

Honestly it seems to be inevitable, with the 8-man MITB and 8-man tag matches going on. I'd love it.

Well I'm still looking at animations that's been there for ages but some of the stuff looks nice. I can see the upgrades in the High Flying gameplay but everything else is the same. I'm gonna start a post series about developers boasting about non-important features and all around bullshit entitled "Whatever:" where I'll talk about things like this:

Why is the SvR team talking about styles and shit when I don't remember anyone complaining about it last year? You know what I care about? Old-ass animations and obvious-yet-absent features in the Smackdown series. In that vid above; Old-ass animations and little I really wanted to see. They wanna impress me I better see a vid of a custom soundtracks option.
