The UK may be a big enough market, but the truth is, whether they want to admit it or not, the measuring stick of professional wrestling over here is WWE, so your little pissant productions trying to look big budget like you see on The Wrestling Channel look like fifth-rate ripoffs. WWE is what wrestling is in the UK as well as America, and it would take someone like Rupert Murdoch and his resources, the production values of the old Pride, quality star and match making like the UFC, and the star power of the WWE to actually make something that's not just a minor league indy group. And let's face facts - that's not happening.

I used to train and did 3 shows for BRAWL. Small fed in the midlands of UK.
Doubt many of the wrestlers there went on or made it big, but if anyone has seen them they were: The Great Scot, MTX, Chris Peacock, Marco Di Fiore, Stevie Summers.....anyone? lol We had Chilly Willy and CW Anderson run us through a 'WCW Powerplant' training session. Was brutal. |

MTX was on an NGW show I was @ 'round about October last year. At least I think that's the guy. Calls himself 'Mr Total Extreme', tattoos, decent body, seemed like a nice enough guy. That sound familiar?
