It really looks like they aren't even trying anymore. There's just no emotion to their game anymore...they've gone flat.

If the Mets blow it entirely and the Yanks fall flat on their face in the playoffs again, it'd be quite a sight seeing Willie and Torre getting canned in the same year

I guess they would do it with a drawing the Pads/Rockies play a elimination game, with the winner plays the Mets and the winner of that gets the WC.

Wow, what a day of baseball. Mets win 13-0, Maine has 14 K's and nearly a no-hitter, two bench-clearing incidents in a single inning...

Then the Phillies lost. All tied up going into the final day. While I really would've rather had the Mets clinch weeks ago, it can't get more exciting than this.
