I just noticed something. Heltons stats are down the last few years, just in time for the Humidor to come into use and the overall runs drop at Coors.

IS he perhaps over-rated?

Im a huge Helton fan, always defended him, but it just seems like his GREAT years were the product of coors, but it looks that way.

Maybe he is just really good, not Hall of Fame great. The guy can rake though.

His 3Bs are WAY down away, his homers are down, rbis down, Ks up, OBP down, SLG way down when he is away in his career. Look at his average, 71 points down away! When you look at his numbers in normal parks his stats are not very good, but then his stats in Hitting land, and its great. Since they got the humirdor he has really fallen to earth.

lol everyone is blowing up over what Manny said yesterday, talking about how it isn't the end of the World if the Sox lose tonight. Personally I think people are taking it way out of context, I think he really meant that the team is going into tonight's game with a relaxed attitude. While he probably could have worded it better, I don't think he is gonna go to the game tonight and not give a fuck about what happens...which is what a lot of people around here are making it seem like.

Guess Drew is getting benched tonight in favor of Kilty, makes sense since Kilty has had good success against Sabathia and Drew sucks against him. Well Drew pretty much sucks against everyone. Really want to see Ellsbury in the line up though, I think he would provide such a big spark to a dead offense
