I would think the Patriots would prefer a top 5 pick over an aging Jason Taylor who likely isn't going to produce close to what he did in his prime. Thats just me though.

He'd play OLB and Belicheck has always preferred experience over youth at that position...

Plus the rumor was the pick for taylor plus a 2nd and 3rd (not same years).

But we're a long way from offseason deals.

I just don't see the Pats taking anyone that high, unless there is a shut-down CB worth a top 5 pick (I don't follow college enough to know).
